We are fighting for the maintenance of the values of a democratic State under the rule of law and of the Constitution, which are notoriously broken by President Andrzej Duda and by the Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Beata Szydło.
We do not agree to being deprived of our basic citizens’ rights and of our freedom of assemblies.
We shall fight against any movement which aims to make Poland leave the European Union.
We stand up for the victims of wars who are fleeing from death and are trying to find hope in democratic countries. The history of Poland is a history of human solidarity; we shall be led by these values in respect to families suffering as a result of the tragedy of war.
We are strongly opposed to the wave of aggression and intolerance which is engulfing Poland and is fueled by the main political force.
As citizens of the Polish Republic – both the ones who believe in God as a source of truth, justice, good and beauty, as well as those who do not share that belief – we are defending Christian values which are being appropriated in a cynical political game.
While remembering the tragic airplane accident near Smoleńsk, in which President Lech Kaczyński and ninety five other citizens died, we protest against the brutal abuse of the dead for current political purposes.
We are acting in the defense of our children and of their children, which have a right to a free, democratic and modern homeland, in accordance with the standards of the XXI century.
We appeal to all those who share these values to get involved. On July 10th we, the Citizens, shall stand on Krakowskie Przedmieście, opposite to Jarosław Kaczyński, in defense of our rights.
