Lech Wałęsa will sue TVP head Andrzej Urbański, IPN head Janusz Kurtyka and the authors of the documentary Agent Bolek for 20 million zlotys in damages for libel.

'I will bring to court all those who distribute this rubbish!' was how Lech Wałęsa reacted yesterday to the broadcasting by the TVP public television on Wednesday of Grzegorz Braun and Robert Kaczmarek's documentary film alleging that the former president was a communist secret police informant codenamed 'Bolek'.

Mr Wałęsa threatened legal action as early as Wednesday, a couple of hours before the planned broadcast....
