Brown, Berlusconi, Merkel, Fillon, or a Diplomatic Festival in Warsaw

Half of Europe is set to arrive in Warsaw at the end of April for a series of visits, consultations and summits.

The 'diplomatic festival' in Warsaw will begin on Tuesday, 28 April, with the arrival of the British prime minister, Gordon Brown. Gazeta has learned that Mr Brown will have breakfast with his Polish counterpart, Donald Tusk.

They are to discuss not only European issues, such as energy security or the work time directive, but also collaboration in Afghanistan. In August, elections will take place there under the protection of a Nato-led international force....
